Rock painting is coming to Trout Lake Nature Center (TLNC) on Wednesday, June 12 from 1 to 4 PM. What’s rock painting? Well, it is just like it sounds—painting on a rock. The rock can then be used as a paperweight, placed in a garden or along a walkway, given as a gift or just kept to be admired. Or, even left at TLNC for use to place along our trails to let visitors find and admire. Artist Ellen Westerholm will conduct the class where acrylics are used to paint various nature shapes, flowers or animals on your rock. She will have some design available or you can go crazy and create your own. Cost is $20 and you must register at https://tinyurl.com/4p7pvxf4 for this class.
