Hosted annually in the heart of downtown Eustis, this multi-day festival brings the streets to life with live music, a lively parade, family-friendly entertainment, vendors, carnival rides, a 5K run, and a spectacular fireworks show.

Held each February, Georgefest draws thousands of visitors and showcases the pride and spirit of the Eustis community. It’s a time-honored tradition that blends history, local culture, and small-town charm into one unforgettable experience.

The City of Eustis celebrates George Washington’s Birthday during a week-long, family-friendly event taking place February 21-28, 2026. Georgefest is the longest running celebration of George Washington’s Birthday in the State of Florida, and is now the longest, continuously running celebration of its kind in the entire United States.

Featuring carnival rides and games, a bass tournament, Running of the Georges Race, a dog jog, parade, contests, vendors, and awesome live entertainment!
